Statement of Faith

  • We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He is God made flesh who dwelt among men and did not know sin. Jesus is the Living Word (Logos), the perfect expression and intention of God the Father. (Matthew 16:16, John 1:1, Hebrews 1:3)

  • We believe in the triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

  • We believe that in the Lord Jesus Christ dwells the fullness of Godhead in bodily form. (Colossians 2:9)

  • We believe that God, Jesus Christ, entered a sinful world and gave Himself, submitting to death, paying for all sin past present, and future, delivering mankind from the curse Law of Sin and Death and the power of sin. (Romans 8:2, Hebrews 7:27, Hebrews 10:10, 1 Peter 3:18)

  • We believe that the written Word of God is fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and is good for doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • We believe that to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves is the sum of the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40)

  • We believe in the foundational doctrines of Christ; repentance from dead works and faith toward God, baptisms and laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (Hebrews 6:1-2)

  • We believe that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you are saved. (Romans 10:9)

  • We believe in the resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust. (Daniel 12:2)

  • We believe God has given believers a covenant promise of blessing, both spiritual and natural. (John 10:10, Ephesians 1:3, Hebrews 6:14)

  • We believe we are to follow the example of Jesus regardless of societal norms and beliefs. (Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 11:1)

  • We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is present truth and is progressive and dynamic in its revelation and application. (Romans 1:17, 16:25-26, 2 Corinthians 3:18)

  • We believe in the Great Commission to go into all the world and make disciples of all men. (Matthew 28:19-20)
